Birthday in the age of Facebook
As of this moment — not even noon on my 28th birthday — about 20 people have “written” on my “wall” to wish me a happy one. That is more people, I feel confident, than ever called me on the phone between my 1st and 27th.

Justin,
I don’t have facebook but I wanted to tell you happy birthday. I’m going to the inauguration. Is there anything you want me to ask Mr.O?

Yes! Please tell him to send bailout money — maybe a measly $250K? — to Justin Shepherd, c/o Spencer’s Coffeehouse, 915 College St., Bowling Green KY 42101. Tell him I will make sure to hire an American Samoan (in the name of diversity) and transition my espresso machine to solar and/or wind power.
