Vacation’s over
Sometimes, words don’t work. So here are some pics from vacation. They’re in two parts: The first from Kentucky Lake, where we spent most of our time; the second from Patti’s 1880s Settlement, a weird funpark nearby. With a visit to Paducah in the middle.
Lewis gets crunk on the way into town.

Little boys and their daddies get sleepy out on the water!

Don’t mess with a dude who wears Body Glove and a bonnet!

The happy couple visits Paducah… Kentucky’s coolest small town.

Every fun park needs a chapel, right?

She just hit a hole-in-one. The nerve!

Back at the chapel, I confess my sins. Then it’s off to get sno-cones and check out the petting zoo! But then I saw a massive monument… a grave? No, but a headstone, yes—and memorializing people who, apparently, have yet to become deceased!
